This has been a LONG time coming....

A little over nine years in fact!


I first have to start out with my deepest apologies. When we packed up to move to another state, I had every intention of getting adorned with Grace up and going again, even choosing a house that would allow me to have the space & work area to do so. I even prepared new stock ready so all I had to do was package the items. I even filled out all the Business license, sales tax, and permit forms I needed. But life happened and it got me so sidetracked,that awG got left by the wayside.😢


To make a very long story short, we moved again rather unexpectedly two years later and then have been in jobs and other endeavors that continued to keep me occupied. But I NEVER lost my love for making makeup and, of course, all my loyal & beautiful customers!


I knew I would somehow get back on track but never did I ever think that it would be in 2020 that I would begin to do so, when the whole world seemed to turn upside down! But for me personally, 2020 was rather clarifying of my life vision in general—like literally seeing with 20/20 vision! I knew adorned with Grace needed to relaunch and began to plan.


Because so much has really changed in the last 9+ years, I wanted to make sure my store is updated as much as possible. If you have seen our Facebook page or new Instagram account, we have a brand new logo! I think I was especially drawn to the black background because of the symbolism of coming back in a world that may have gotten a little “darker” but still shining the light of love (symbolized by the bright pink & heart) and grace. 


But despite seeing some of these new visuals and new social media outlets with our brand, it is my hope that it will continue to be what you remember best of it: natural & classic colors that bring out your true beauty; practical tools and accessories; personalized Customer Service, and quality products that also give back to the world in a positive way.


So stay tuned! In the past, we have had a handpicked Consumer Panel to test out new products and this may also be the case here. We hope to sell the new stuff in a couple of months, but we would like to make available some of our older stock ready to sell at a deeply discounted price on our old eCrater site where we began once before until everything else comes together. I have put a tentative date on that for February 1. This will be limited to USA customers BUT email me at adorned_with_grace@yahoo.com if you are from another country and we may be able work something out. Much seems to have changed in shipping as well so I need to make sure I continue to do that legally & correctly.

Less than a week before closing!

Just reminding everyone that our store will be temporarily closing this Thursday, Sept. 8 with the last day to shop on Sept. 7. We have added some new Clearance items such as Grab Bags of the discontinued both sample and full-size of Blush & Eyecolors as well as Blush & Eyecolor bundles. Most of these items are going fast so if you would like to get them act soon!  I had no idea it would be so challenging. You would think that I could just “pick up” where we left off with adorned with Grace, but the market has changed pretty significantly in 10 years! I do not remember having to work so hard making the products and on the website many years ago. The latter has been especially difficulty—but…I think I had a bit of writer’s block when trying to get everything jump started. I realized that in continuing adorned with Grace, I felt important to clarify to myself what adorned with Grace would be. Back then, it started as a creative outlet for me, to make cosmetics for hard-to-match skin tones like mine, and to promote true beauty ideas for a positive influence in the world. No Blog Special, BUT...a Special Article!

Believe It or Not: Words & Their Effect When I was a child, there was a show that my family and I loved to watch called, “Ripley’s Believe It or Not” where it showcased scientific marvels, interesting facts in history, and, sometimes, just fun, outrageous stories to excite and amaze its viewers. Well, I recently read an article that I thought would have fit right in with this show called, “Miraculous Messages from Water: How Water Reflects Our Consciousness.” It’s about an experiment conducted by a Japanese scientist where he tested to see the effect of words/thoughts on water. Sounding crazy already, lol?
