Brush Sale Resumes Jan. 1, 2009

Wow! 2009 is here in TWO weeks, can you all believe it?

I do want to start off by saying thanks to every one of you that have placed an order with us these last couple of months, both with the makeup and brush sets and especially to those of you that have helped spread the word; as you all know, that is how small companies like me grow best, through word of mouth. :)

Since I will be out of town almost the entire week of Christmas, my Brush Sale will also be taking a vacation (lol) to slow sales down a bit so I don't run too behind on filling orders when I come back. I will add the Premium Face and Eye brush sets (not many of the Eye sets left though!) back January 1 (Thursday) as well as the couple of Natural Lash sets that were left AND a few other goodies on Clearance. So if you all are just waiting on Christmas bonuses or cash presents before spending any more, this will be a great time for you to partake in this deal if you were unable to this last week.

Also as noted in the post below and on my Home page at my store, orders received this coming Monday, December 22 through Saturday, December 27 WILL NOT BE PROCESSED & SHIPPED until the Sunday/Monday following--maybe Tuesday depending on how many orders I have when I get back. I'll be setting an Auto-Response in my email as a reminder as well. So if you hear of anyone complaining about not getting their order or any emails from me, make sure you let them know as I'm not sure everyone reads the Home Page or this blog.

I do wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a super Happy New Year! I think 2008 has been tough for a lot of us, especially financially, so I wish everyone the best blessings for 2009. Thank you all though for being a part of this great adventure and challenge of owning my own makeup line! You all are too wonderful!!!

Less than a week before closing!

Just reminding everyone that our store will be temporarily closing this Thursday, Sept. 8 with the last day to shop on Sept. 7. We have added some new Clearance items such as Grab Bags of the discontinued both sample and full-size of Blush & Eyecolors as well as Blush & Eyecolor bundles.  I had no idea it would be so challenging. You would think that I could just “pick up” where we left off with adorned with Grace, but the market has changed pretty significantly in 10 years! I do not remember having to work so hard making the products and on the website many years ago. The latter has been especially difficulty—but…I think I had a bit of writer’s block when trying to get everything jump started. No Blog Special, BUT...a Special Article!

Believe It or Not: Words & Their Effect When I was a child, there was a show that my family and I loved to watch called, “Ripley’s Believe It or Not” where it showcased scientific marvels, interesting facts in history, and, sometimes, just fun, outrageous stories to excite and amaze its viewers. Well, I recently read an article that I thought would have fit right in with this show called, “Miraculous Messages from Water: How Water Reflects Our Consciousness.” It’s about an experiment conducted by a Japanese scientist where he tested to see the effect of words/thoughts on water. Sounding crazy already, lol?
